A Little About Me!!

Headshot

All my life I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. l live in a family of five with two younger brothers to pick on me. As a child I got myself into different sports to see what I might enjoy doing. Of coarse, that didn't last long. As I got into high school, I was on the girls golf and badmitton teams. Golf was my sport in high school and still is. On the weekends, I would be on a local bowling team and enjoyed it. Once and a while when I have time, you will find me on a team now. Since I finished college, I've been finding more time to do the things I love. Recently, I just started taking up modeling and doing pageants. I always wanted to do it as a little girl, but now I'm taking advantage of the time I have now.

As for designing, drawing was always my thing since I was very little. Art was always my favorite class and the teachers favorite. I always did more then what was asked just to show off. I continued taking art through high school where I found my medium of using art and enjoyed it. After highschool, I attended Harper community college where I studied my regular general education classes. After two years of getting my main classes out of the way, I transferred over to the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg. At the Art Institute I learned and refined my art skills my two years I was there. There I received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design. From there and out, Graphic Design has and will always be my passion.

My first full time Graphic Design job was working for the Schuamburg Flyers Professtional Baseball Team. I was the only in house Graphics Manager that dealt with every graphic project. From creating the program books to managing the website. I even designed the t-shirts that were sold in the store to the players individual baseball cards. During games you would see me on the field assisting with the between inning games. I learned so much as a designer as I worked day in and day out.

Today I work on various freelance projects that come to me. I continue to design various pieces of art for a local nonprofit organization, which I am on the board for as well. Nothing is too small or too big of a project for me to handle. it's what I love to do in life.
